Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about LICOFY.
Purchasing & Licences
What do I get when I purchase a self-hosted script?
You receive a licenced download of the product and an activation key. After checkout, your licence appears in the portal under My Purchased Scripts, where you can copy the licence key, download the current script version, review the release notes, and open a private support conversation with the seller. Self-hosted licences are issued for the term you selected (one-time or lifetime) and are bound to the domain you activate.
How does hosted provisioning work?
When you purchase a hosted plan, we install and configure the product on our infrastructure for you, on a subdomain linked to your account. This includes the web application, the database, SSL, scheduled cron tasks, and ongoing maintenance. You manage the instance from your portal and simply use the product; there is nothing to download and no server to configure on your side.
Can I use one licence on several domains or servers?
A standard licence is intended for a single production deployment on the domain you activate. Testing and staging environments are generally permitted as part of the same licence as long as the production domain stays the one registered on the licence. If your business genuinely needs multiple live deployments, please check the product update policy or ask the seller through the support channel before installing.
What happens when my subscription ends?
Hosted subscriptions run for the billing period you selected. When a hosted subscription ends, your instance enters a grace period that keeps your data accessible so you can export what you need or renew to continue uninterrupted. Self-hosted one-time and lifetime licences never expire.
Payments & Billing
What payment methods are supported?
We accept payments through our integrated gateways, including Stripe, PayPal, and KoraPay, plus a test gateway so you can evaluate a full checkout safely. All prices on the marketplace are shown with current currency conversion, so the price you see at checkout reflects your local currency.
Are there any hidden or recurring fees?
None. The price shown on the product page is the price you pay. Self-hosted buyers pay for the licence and run the software on their own server. Hosted buyers pay for the subscription, and their hosting and maintenance are included. Sellers are the only ones subject to platform fees, and those are visible in the seller dashboard before payout.
Can I request a refund?
Refunds are handled between the buyer, the seller, and platform support. If a product is genuinely not as described, contact the seller through the licence chat first, as most issues are configuration questions we can help you resolve. If the product cannot be made to work as documented, support can review the order and issue a refund where eligible.
Accounts & Security
How do I activate a new licence key or domain?
Licence keys are issued automatically after checkout. To bind a self-hosted installation, enter your domain in the licence detail page and run the activation using your key. Hosted instances are provisioned automatically and do not require manual domain activation.
Is my data safe?
Security is a core part of the platform. Payment details are handled by PCI-compliant gateways, credentials are stored securely, hosted instances are isolated per customer, and we publish an API status page so you always know the state of the service.
Support & Troubleshooting
How do I contact support?
The fastest route is the support ticket system in your portal, or the private chat on the licence detail page for product-specific questions. For anything else, the contact page reaches the team directly. We typically respond within 24 hours during business days.
I can't set the product up. What should I do first?
Start by checking the release notes and any documentation linked from the product page. Then use the Chat tab on your licence to message the seller with the exact error text and your server details; sellers respond with concrete fixes. If the issue is platform-specific, support will take over from there.
